... I do believe Samura-san when he says that he won't let them use Kumeyuri. [though that entire conversation he had with saber probably takes on a different tone now when you realize uruha was talking about his murderer and not an ally—not anymore.] And I don't think... Samura-san's plan is necessarily wrong, from a pragmatic perspective.

But I intend to return if I can, and we've both decided what we stand by.

I think there is just something about... holding your hand out to someone and thinking you are walking the same path, only to find out that it's been diverging all along.

... Yeah. Looking back, maybe it was naive of me not to realize that Samura-san and I weren't walking the same path. [the irony is that their clash is born from the same root—having no attachment to life left but their guilt. just the way it's manifested is so, crucially different.] But for as long as I've known him, he was never one to let others in.

Do you think he is likely to succeed in what he's doing?

[ since it sounded like the other group they have to be concerned about are fairly powerful? ]

... Right now, assuming I don't return, the only Enchanted Blade that the Hishaku can use is Kumeyuri, but someone wielding an Enchanted Blade for the first time would stand no chance against him.

And one of Samura-san's specialties, through Tobimune, is detecting the use of spirit energy, so it's highly unlikely they could assassinate the other Sword Bearers and activate the other Enchanted Blades behind his back. He'd probably just kill them on the spot if they tried.

So I do think his odds are good.

[ they supposed that is some sort of blessing, if the other group were also enemies, but this still doesn't really seem like a positive that someone who is that strong is planning on killing all of your friends. ]

What about the others?

The other Sword Bearers? I haven't had any contact with them since before we went into hiding. Even with Samura-san, this was the first time I'd seen him in years.

But I imagine with Samura-san going rogue, the Kamunabi will increase security or change their hiding locations.
