... It's still normal enough that you wouldn't draw much attention by carrying one for self-defence. Though I think it's becoming rarer, these days—enough that anyone actually possessing one in broad daylight stands a good chance of being a criminal, or the like.

Not exactly. [a tilt of his head] The way sorcery works where I'm from is that everyone is capable of using the spirit energy within their body, if they know to. That's what I mastered.

However, my focus was the blade—I never went the step beyond of using spirit energy to manifest my personal sorcery, so I wouldn't be considered a sorcerer.
