I have been dead long before showing up here. I am a Heroic Spirit, also known as a Servant. I was summoned to participate in a competition to compete for a wish, and I was paired up with a human. This pairing made him my Master, as I could only exist in the world due to my tie to him. That's Iori. We fought together.

But Iori wanted a peaceful world, so I was supporting his wish.

I do like Iori's wish... but I feel like yours is important too. I don't think a wish needs to be grand and selfless to be worthy, even though I do think you're a kind person.

The Waxing Moon Ritual. The Waxing Moon is the item that will grant the wish in the end.

Yes, I destroyed it with my own hands.

We had learned that the way it was created... there was a lot of things not right about it. And if it continued to exist, there was a chance something like the Waxing Moon Ritual could happen again, and even more death and destruction would follow. It had to be destroyed.

[ he nods in understanding. it makes sense, even if it's too bad that what saber was summoned for had to disappear ]

It is very easy to just think of someone as beyond hope... a kid trying his best can still change someone for the better.

What's he like?

He's the best. [ proudly ] Hugo looked out for me a lot after that. He joined Courrune and helped me get set up as a proper business. I know people were worried about me getting swindled, but he also stepped in a lot to make sure I'd be treated fairly.

He's kind and strong, and even though he's a Reliver he seems to be able to express most of his emotions. I've never seen him be cruel to anybody. He's good at fishing and would always look after me while I was drunk.

I really do love him. [ in that bro pal no homo kind of way ]
