I don't know either. Someone killing on purpose for an apple makes me a lot angrier. [chewing her lip; they're aware of some of her lore, so she does want to explain that a bit.] It's not that I don't understand it. It's more that as long as we're all sitting ducks, my sympathy for it is thin to nonexistent.

But practically, I think the person affected may be a much greater danger. So, then, ignore our anger and punish someone we feel has had a tragedy befall them to spare someone who acted selfishly for their own gain? I hate it, but it does have logic to it.

It does... the issue is how everyone is going to see it, if they'll agree or disagree. Because it may also come down to who it is.
