Not like I've got too much else to do once my part of a job's done... besides, it really pisses people off.

I run a merc squad, but lately? Elite ops. Artillery and explosives.

More or less. Pretty embarrassing to live that long and just get unlucky...

So. What kind of work do you get up to?

[ they lay their hand out. ]

I guess for a 'job' I was helping a friend with his work... but primarily we were in a competition together against other duos. I was in the middle of that when I died.

[sarkazm]

Ended up on a losing team, huh. Sucks for you.

[starting on the first layer... she's not bad at it. the dexterity it takes to build explosives comes in handy.]

It was for an all-powerful wish.

... I don't even know. I don't remember it.

But I was assigned a partner, so I was just going to try to support his wish and see if my memory came back.

And if it didn't? Were you just gonna wish for your memory back? [a hum, before she flashes them a toothy little grin.] Imagine that. Needing to use the wish to remember what you were wishing for in the first place... at that point, you're just fucked.

No, nothing like that. It's not like I lost my full memory. I know who I am and what has happened to me.
